We’re thrilled to announce that Diana Arus is the winner of Mini Challenge #3! Not only is it beautifully illustrated, but it's a great example of an immersive comic: it almost feels like we can swim inside!
The Judges
This mini challenge was judged by two exceptional comic artists, Rina Piccolo and Bob Eckstein. They're both very accomplished artists who have used Mental Canvas to add a new dimension to their work. Learn more about them:
Rina Piccolo
Rina is a cartoonist, collaborator on Rhymes With Orange comics, and an expert Mental Canvas user. Rina created the Comic of the Future with Mental Canvas: a whimsical and interactive art gallery in which readers can “walk” through the rooms to experience riffs on the famous works and discover hidden jokes and surprises.
Bob Eckstein
Bob is a New York Times bestselling author, a New Yorker cartoonist, professor at NYU and snowman expert. His cartoons, OpEds, and short stories have appeared widely in the New York Times, New York Daily News, Wall Street Journal, Reader’s Digest, and many others. Recently, Bob created a Mental Canvas journey from a desert island to Paris and New York.
